The Innovation & Technology team within the Robotic Solutions Business Unit has an opportunity for a Global Product Manager (GPM). We are looking for a passionate and talented individual who will develop and own new products within the Innovation & Technology team.
Within this role, you will identify opportunities, build, and communicate the strategy / product roadmap(s), define go-to-market strategy, as well as follow the product through its full life cycle until end-of-life. You will make sure the product delivers on customer expectations, and on all key business metrics.

Your tasks:
- Articulate market trends, customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape and translate those into product strategy
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, marketing, operations, and customers to develop new ideas to bring to market as well as continuously improve product quality to ensure that our products provide value and meaningful experiences for our customers
- Planning, initiation and monitoring of projects; including timeline, cost, and workload management
- Build collaborative relationships with customers, users, and stakeholders to understand their problems and communicate our solutions.
- Represent the product at trade shows and social media; sell product roadmap internally; participate in winning large deals; provide sales training and generate enthusiasm for the product.
- Leading projects within the BS FA in various functional areas, such as digital solutions
- Travel (~30%) in a role that truly has global impact.
Your talents:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in a global role
- Ability to distil customer requests and market needs into an innovative product vision, roadmap, and action items for all developments.
- Strong strategic thinking, planning, and tactical execution as well as the ability to manage and drive priorities across departments.
- Self-reliant working style that is as well as flexible and resilient.
- Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams and experience in leading through influence, not by authority
- Very good computer skills with MS Office
- Experience with building project timelines / Gantt charts within Microsoft Project or Asana
- Business fluent in written and spoken English; German language a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and / or Marketing is a plus; however, our focus will be around experience.
- Knowledge of the Factory Automation market either within Automotive or another large industry desired
